Arterra is working on developing affordable housing in Kebbi, Ebonyi and Kaduna estates of Nigeria. The vision is to develop and achieve holistic environment friendly spaces for generations, in order to bequeath legacy across all economic segments, which will transcend through time. Arterra is leading the overall masterplan as well as the details of the housing typologies. This involves designing, building and managing of up to 500 housing units with the first phase being 100 housing units of diverse composition.

The estate is also going to include various amenities like a supermarket, place of worship, school and convention center. This project was taken up by the firm abiding to its design ethos of positively impacting the infrastructure of an underdeveloped country like Nigeria by influencing the local architecture keeping the needs of the people in mind and at the same time introducing new technologies for more efficient ways of living. How can one bring a change in a new country by giving its people a better style of living in keeping with their personal values and culture is the challenge Arterra aims to resolve through this endeavor.
